Hello again!
Just a little extra project from me….and its not covered in paint! (well, hardly at all anyway!)
A rustic Valentine card, made in shades of brown and white, with just a little pinky red to make it pop!
The card base is created from My Minds Eye cardstock, which I lightly covered with a wash of watered down white acrylic paint to give it a whitewashed feel.
I also brayered the card gently using white gesso, again to give a little texture. Continuing with the texture, I cut piece of hessian, frayed the edge and added more gesso.
An old bit of corrugated card was added to the mix, again with white gesso brayered over it. Twine instead of ribbon for the rustic look!
The hearts were punched from pink/red Core-Dinations cardstock, then overstamped with a splatter.
Not quite as messy as my usual pieces, but I think I like it!

Love the card. I have some cup holders from Starbucks that I think I’m going to use on some ATCs this weekend.
