Today I’m back with my 2nd project of the month. I love Art Journals because you can alter them however you like for any occasion, theme or season. With this A6 Blank Album I set about creating colours, textures and layers – nice and grungy which is right up my street!
Build up layers by using Gesso and acrylic paints. To create texture you can use any household items such as package wrap, bubble wrap, sponge, jar lids – I used mesh plasterboard tape (the possibilities are endless)!
I covered a square on the back of the album using this gorgeous Vintage Decor scrapbook paper, then added more paint and more layers!
I have also used a piece of the Vintage Decor paper for the heart aperture which I outlined with a charcoal pencil to make it pop!
